Yacht Club hosts food, wine event

The Westlake Yacht Club will host the annual Food and Wine Festival from 4 to 8 p.m. Sun., June 24 at The Landing, 32123 W. Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village.

The event will include food and wine donated from local restaurants and wineries, and silent and live auctions.

Auction items include art, vacations, surf stuff, sports memories and more.

All net proceeds will be donated to two local, youth-oriented charities.

The Westlake Sailing Foundation is a nonprofit organization devoted to raising and distributing funds for scholastic, collegiate and community competition.

Adopt-A-Future Foundation centers on family strengthening and school readiness and prepares children up to age 5 for success through quality education, advocacy and leadership.

Tickets are $45 prepaid before June 10 and $50 at the door.

Admission is free for those only wishing to bid on the auctions; however, registration is required to bid in the live auction.

Checks for admission are payable to Westlake Sailing Foundation and may be mailed to Rose Jeffery, 2558 Oakshore, Westlake Village, CA 91361.
