Oak Park's really good guy

A great, well-deserved thank-you to Mr. Glen Wilcox of Oak Park. As we continue to see him at Oak Park Unified School District board meetings and many other meetings throughout our Oak Park community, he has earned the respect of those of us with children in the school district. Never cowardly, he always signs his name and encourages intelligent thought that has put the well-being and needs of our students in the forefront.

Though Superintendent Knight has rudely and unprofessionally hung up the telephone on me, threatened lawsuits and attempted to practice intimidation, though Principal McCormack has unprofessionally sent out e-mails that are vile with insults about at least one special needs student's parent, one can always count on Mr. Wilcox to be professional, incisive, intelligent and unable to be intimidated and retaliated against as so many of the rest of us have been. It is truly a breath of fresh air finally infused into this outdated, morally bankrupt and unprofessional district.
