School singers to perform spring concert

The Westlake High School choral department will present its spring concert, "The Beat Goes On," at 7:30 p.m. Thurs. through Sat., May 31 to June 2, plus a 1 p.m. matinee show on Saturday, at the school theater, 100 N. Lakeview Canyon Road, Westlake Village.

The first half of the show will feature classical pieces, spirituals, ballads and madrigals. The second half will include songs from the beginning of rock 'n' roll to music from the 1980s.
