Dance Trends School offering scholarships

Dance Trends School of Dance and Music will be granting $26,000 in dance company scholarships for the 2007-08 school year. All ages and levels are welcome.

Scholarship auditions will be Sat., May 19 at the dance studio, 1145 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village.

Ten different scholarships will be awarded for use towards participation in one of five dance companies. The scholarships are available only to those not presently students at Dance Trends.

Dancers will audition in front of a panel of dance champions and professionals. Finalists will be selected in each of four categories: ballet, tap, jazz and hip-hop.
