EXAMPLE--Susan Goldstein strolls past a hand-blown glass representation
of a blue agave, a plant used to make tequila, at the Calabasas Fine Arts
Festival last Sunday. Long Beach artist Jason McQuaid creates his glittering
pieces with glass blown at 2,000 degrees. More than 200 vendors signed up for
the art show, which celebrated its 10th year in the city under the direction of
the Calabasas Arts Council.
