Whenever I read a letter like the one submitted by Mr. and Mrs. Lebowitz I can't help but think they're in some way connected to the developer. Why would anyone that lives in Agoura of the Conejo Valley support further development? The Agoura Village Plan is a disaster; so is the recently approved Triangle Ranch project. More ... I read the article on the Triangle Ranch hearing that appeared in the April 5 Acorn with interest and a bit of surprise, given the history of the project and its rocky path through the planning process. The plan proposed by Cornell Preservation Organization specifying 50 homes was news to me. More ... Recently The Acorn published an article regarding Triangle Ranch, a proposed development at the base of Ladyface Mountain in the Cornell area near Agoura. The Triangle Ranch development proposal came before the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors at a recent board meeting at which the Cornell Preservation Organization proposed a project alternative. More ... Oak Park voters should take special note of the new Yerba Buena Elementary School located at Lindero Canyon and Reyes Adobe roads. This beautiful new campus includes six buildings encompassing more than 20 classrooms, a library with computer lab and a multipurpose room building. More ... In the "No gates in Oak Park" article of April 19 ( The Acorn ), the manner in which the reporter represented the issue of Regency/Chambord becoming gated communities was both embarrassing to me and offensive to Regency/Chambord owners. I hold my breath each time I drive into and out of the shelter.
