Stage Door matinee to support the troops
      The Stage Door Theatre's production of the comedy "Having a Wonderful Time, Wish You Were Her" on Sun., April 29 will be a benefit performance for Operation Interdependence, a national nonprofit which provides a secure process for civilians to support the overseas military forces.

'Evening of Guitar' house concert scheduled
      Russ & Julie's House Concerts in Oak Park will present "An Evening of Guitar" featuring Peppino D'Agostino at 8 p.m. Sat., May 5. D'Agostino is an Italian native and longtime California resident whose style incorporates standard and unconventional tunings as well as unique fingering and percussive effects, according to event organizers.

Band to perform at Buddha Lounge
     ALL THAT JAZZ- RMQ, the Renee Myara Quartet, will introduce its first CD, "What About Helen," with a release party at 5:30 p.m. on Sun., April 29 at the MOZ Buddha Lounge, 30105 Agoura Road in Agoura Hills. Tune up to success at Employee Appreciation Day
      The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce's annual Golden Lasso Employee Appreciation Day will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thurs., April 26 at the Calabasas Country Club, 4515 Park Entrada.       The Westlake Village Art Guild will host the 2007 High School Senior Art Appreciation Show through Sat., April 28 at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery, 2331 Borchard Road, Newbury Park. An awards reception is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. tomorrow, Fri., April 20, in the gallery. Gallery hours for viewing the exhibit are 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
