Misses the old Kanan on-ramp
      Unless there are pending plans to revise the approach to both the north and south entrances to the freeway when traveling south on Kanan Road, the reconfiguration of the freeway entrances have created considerable ongoing traffic jams. To begin with, the southbound entrance has been reduced to one from the previous two lanes.

      There are two scenarios. Mary Altman's and the Agoura Village Plan. Imagine you drive down Agoura Road. Under Mary Altman's desire to undermine the Agoura Village Plan, we would see a vast parking lot with a set lube shop. Next to that another parking lot, a group of large big- name stores such as Michael's, Quizno's, Petsmart, more parking and possibly a bank.

Remembering Rick Rhodes
      It's been nearly a year and a half since my husband, Rick, passed away. I had always meant to write this letter (in fact, Rick would probably say, "What took you so long?") but for many reasons I never did. Now that my family is reaching some milestones- Adam is graduating from OPHS, and Allie is graduating from Pepperdine University- I knew the time to write this was now.
