Method Fest winners announced
      The ninth annual Method Fest independent film festival announced its winners at an awards ceremony held Thursday at Viewpoint School's Carlson Family Theatre in Calabasas. A pair of Calabasas High School students, Kevin Horowitz and Jacob Schwartz, won the Future Filmmakers Award for their 18-minute animation movie, "Mission Space 2.

Conejo Players presents macabre mystery
      Conejo Players Theatre will present the Agatha Christie play "And Then There Were None" Saturdays and Sundays April 21 through May 12 at 351 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks. The ensemble comedy takes place in the island home of a mysterious host. As the guests are sequentially eliminated according to the verses of a nursery rhyme, suspicions and allegations run amok.

'High School Musical' coming to Calabasas
      Children with a love of theater will present Disney's "High School Musical" today, April 12 and Fri., April 13 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sat., April 14 at 2 and 7 p.m. All shows are at Calabasas High School, 22855 W. Mulholland Hwy., Calabasas. Tickets sell for $15 at the door.
