Calabasas announces basketball league, camp
      The city of Calabasas Community Services Department offers an adult basketball league and youth basketball camp. For information or to register, visit De Anza Park, 3701 Lost Hills Road, Calabasas, or call (818) 880-6461. The league will begin in early April and run eight to 10 weeks. Games will be played in the gym at A.C. Stelle Middle School, 22450 Mulholland Hwy, Calabasas.

Entertainment camp coming
      Registration is underway for PlanetBravo's Techno-tainment Summer Camp. One-week sessions will be held at A.E. Wright Middle School, 4029 Las Virgenes Road in Calabasas, from June 25 through July 30. The camp teaches students a variety of technology skills such as video game creation, web design, robotics, Hollywood movie production and podcasting.

Scout party
      All students in the Las Virgenes Unified School District and their friends are invited to a spring break laser tag party hosted by Boy Scout Troop 474 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thurs., April 5 at Ultrazone. This activity costs only $20 with a portion of the proceeds going to Boy Scout Troop 474.

      California Lutheran University named nearly 400 students to the 2006 fall semester dean's honor list. Students qualify by maintaining a 3.5 grade point average in their academic subjects.

      + Jessica Lessing of Oak Park was named to the dean's list at Tuft's University in Boston for the fall, 2006 semester. Dean's list students must earn a grade point average of 3.4 or greater. Lessing is a senior at Tufts.
