Learn to heal and laugh

Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center's H2U program (Health, Happiness, You) will host a free presentation of "Laughter and Healing" featuring comedic writer Robert Fisher from 3 to 5 p.m., Thurs., April 5 at its East Campus, 150 Via Merida in Westlake Village.

Fisher began his career at age 19 writing for Groucho Marx on his national radio show. He went on to write for Bob Hope, George Burns, Alan King, Lucille Ball, Red Skelton and Jack Benny. Fisher has written hundreds of radio comedy shows and more than 1,200 television comedy shows.

At the age of 42, Fisher learned he had cancer of the liver and pancreas. He "discovered the healing power of laughter," according to a hospital spokesperson.
