A lucky spin brings funds to White Oak
     GOOD FORTUNE- Peter Diaz, father of a second grader at White Oak Elementary school, spins the wheel of fortune at the school's Lolo Luau fundraiser held at Calamigos Ranch on Saturday. SAT program geared to parents and students
      High school students in the Class of 2008 and 2009 can practice taking a fulllength SAT, including the new essay 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., March 24 at the Westlake High School library, 100 N. Lakeview Canyon Road, Westlake Village. Participants will learn the strategies behind the test and receive their scores back on test completion.

Chili cook-off contestants needed
      Conejo Valley Days' 32nd annual Chili Cookoff, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks, is accepting chili cook and vendor applications. The cook-off will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sun., April 29 at Conejo Creek Park in Thousand Oaks.
