Arbor Day plantings abound


HARPER SMITH/Acorn Newspapers LAND MANAGER- Calabasas High School sophomore Rebecca Peters plants a tree during the Calabasas Arbor Day celebration at Wild Walnut Park off Mulholland Highway and Old Topanga Canyon Road. Peters is also co-president of the Earth Club at Calabasas High. The event was sponsored by the city of Calabasas and Mountains Restoration Trust.
