Oak Park school district accepting senior exemptions

The Oak Park Unified School District is accepting requests for senior exemptions for the Measure D4 Parcel Tax. The forms are available from the district's support services office at 5801 E. Conifer St., Oak Park, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or call (818) 735-3200. Senior citizens 65 years old or older are eligible to apply.

Seniors must bring to the district office the completed and signed form along with proof of parcel number/address and proof of age. The address on the ID form must be the primary residence, not rental properties.

All exemptions must be submitted and verified by May 31. The exemption must be renewed annually in order to maintain eligibility.
