Take care of pets in weather

It is 35 to 40 degrees outside, but you don't mind as you are in your warm home or under the down comforter. How about Fido and Kitty? You left them outside in the cold and even the rain, without any concern for their wellbeing. How could you do that? Dogs and cats are warm-blooded and feel the cold, too. Even horses do when it is wet and windy.

Neighbors, please have some concern and care for your animals. They rely on you, and you are letting them down. Leaving them outside in this unusually cold weather is cruelty and neglect. Susan Braun Oak Park
