Girl Scouts to award local women
Chandler-Nelson has many years of experience in business and fund development, from a nurseryleasing business to the African Environmental Film Foundation. She now serves as the executive director for Ventura County Medical Resource Foundation. Lederer owns 10 Domino's Pizza stores serving the Conejo and west San Fernando valleys. She has served as chairman of the board of the Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce and Conejo Youth Employment Services and is a member of the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks. Yunker has received many honors for her work with the Pierpont Bay Association, the Ventura College Foundation Board and the Ventura County Community Foundation and other nonprofit associations. The Rubicon Theatre named its performance hall after her in recognition of her ongoing support. Proceeds from this event will fund Girl Scout programs and scholarships in Ventura County. Founded in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low, the organization has grown from an original troop of 18 to 2.7 million young women members and nearly 1 million adult members, primarily volunteers.
