Must be new way to solve old conflict
Will there ever be peace in this world? This is in response to the article "All about Arabs for Israel," which states "Muslims must stop terrorism, support Israel and protect the moral fabric and goodness of Arab culture" and live happily ever after.

No place for 'extremism'
Having read the article "All about Arabs for Israel," Jan. 18, I am left to wonder what kind of an extremist and abusive upbringing Nonie Darwish had. If her claim about the hate indoctrination she received from her parent is true then it is good for her to have converted. There is no place for hateful people in Islam.

Saturday nights are all right
What were you doing Saturday night? Russ and Julie Paris hosted a remarkable 10th anniversary house concert in Oak Park with some of the most talented musicians performing today. Your cover story "On the road with 'American Chopper,'" Jan. 18, which talks about the Rock Store, claims that the landmark "hangout" is in rural Agoura. Wrong.

Another vote in Westlake Village
There is a reason other than "spitefulness" and "vindictiveness" that resulted in the council rejecting and so many Westlake residents agreeing that Jim Bruno is not qualified to be mayor. In his zeal to defeat Measure Z he misled the citizens of Westlake Village as to what would be built on that property.
