Temple Beth Haverim hosts special Friday evening service
      Temple Beth Haverim invites the community to "Friday Night Love." The event is 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, Jan. 26 at 7:30 at Temple Beth Haverim in Agoura Hills. The term translated means "House of Friends" and every fourth Friday of the month the temple offers an inspiring Shabbat featuring music, poetry, prayers, dancing, hugs and an Oneg reception.

West Valley Jewish Center presents Shabbat songs, stories
      "The Songs and Stories of Shabbat" is a musical tour through the sounds of Shabbat, the Jewish day of rest, and will be presented at 7 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 1 at the West Valley Jewish Community Center, 22622 Vanowen St., West Hills. Benny Friedman, brother of Rabbi Eli Freidman of Chabad of Calabasas, is the lead vocal for the event.
