Math, science whiz kids honored

STEPHANIE BERTHOLDO/Acorn Newspapers SHOOT FOR THE STARS-- Calabasas High School students Jacob Schwartz and Erica Wolfish, pictured with school Principal Dave Jackson, are honored at the Las Virgenes Unified School District board meeting Jan. 9 for their participation in the COSMOS program for math and science. Schwartz attended UC Davis and worked in advanced mathematics, while Wolfish studied molecular biology at UC San Diego, working on a DNA project.
