Comedy Sportz to host benefit

The Oak Park High School Comedy Sportz will host a special charity benefit at 7:15 p.m. Fri., Jan. 26 in the OPHS Performing Arts Pavilion.

The event is to raise funds for Transplant Recipients International Organization, a nonprofit group that works to improve the quality of life for transplant recipents, donors and their families.

OPHS senior Ryan Roschke is waiting for a kidney transplant, which inspired his fellow teammates to present this fundraiser.

For this event, a donation of $10 is requested, although the usual admission prices of $3 for students and $5 for adults will be honored.
