Club to discuss home safety

The Westlake Village Newcomers Club will host Senior Dept. Larry Logan of the Ventura County Sheriff's Department at the monthly "coffee" from 10 a.m. to noon Tues., Jan. 16 at the home of the club president.

Logan, who has specialized in crime prevention during the past few years, will cover a variety of measures residents can take to secure their home and minimize the risk of falling victim to crime.

All residents of the 91361, 91362 and 91377 ZIP codes are welcome and there is no cost to attend.
