Disgruntled HOA
      The Westlake Ranch Property Owners Association and the Euclid Management Company have let down the citizens of Westlake Village. Several months ago, a large group of civic-minded citizens gathered to discuss security concerns in our North Ranch neighborhoods. We asked for assistance from the fine Thousand Oaks Police Department and we promptly got it.

Animal shelter is appreciative
      The staff and the volunteers at the Agoura Animal Shelter wish to thank the public for their very generous donations during the holiday season to homeless pets residing at the shelter. Every item donated will go a long way toward making each pet's stay at the shelter so much more comfortable.

      In the Dec. 28 Acorn I was quoted as saying that teardowns were a growing epidemic in Old Agoura. I was actually quoting the National Trust when I said that teardowns were a growing epidemic nationwide.
