Teacher offers help

Special Education teacher Rhory Kadish will present tips on helping children with homework during the Special Education Advisory Committee meeting Mon., Jan. 8 at Oak Park Community Library, 898 N. Kanan Road, Oak Park.

The meeting will start with coffee and dessert at 5:30 p.m., followed by the general meeting at 6:30. The presentation will be from 7 to 8:30.

Kadish will offer strategies and ideas for helping children do homework and develop or

ganizational skills, as well as discuss the challenges faced by children with learning disabilities.

Childcare is available. Spanish and sign language interpreters must be reserved seven days in advance. Registration for the presentation is encouraged.
