Girl Scouts prepare goodies for soldiers overseas

CARING AND SHARING—Three Girl Scout troops of Bay Laurel Elementary School in Calabasas pose for a snapshop after they had assembled 250 care packages with candy and a card for the troops in Iraq. The packages were given to Operation Gratitude, which ships the donated items. Daisy Troop 262, Brownie Troop 68 and Junior Troop 449 all participated in the project. Michele Faulkner is the Daisy leader.
