Last week’s article that said the Calabasas Inn would not be demolished is incorrect. City officials said that if a proposed development at the Park Sorrento Drive receives an entitlement from the city in its present form, the existing Calabasas Inn building would indeed be taken down.

While the original plans did not include an assembly hall or banquet facility similar to the existing Calabasas Inn, the latest plan does include meeting or assembly hall use.

But the developers have in no way proposed to save the existing structure.
