Method Fest entries sought

Entries are currently being accepted for the ninth annual Method Fest, an independent film festival scheduled for March 30 to April 6, 2007 in Calabasas.

The Method Fest, named after the famous “Method” school of acting, features American and international independent feature and short films with breakout acting performances in characterdriven films.

The Method Fest is the only major U.S. film festival that acknowledges the actor’s contribution to independent films and has launched to the marketplace original work of new artists, as well as films with careerdefining performances of name actors.

Along with daily screenings, The Method Fest will have a wide array of events, including opening and closing night galas, special tributes, awards ceremony, a Centerpiece screening, daily parties at local restaurants, and Indie Music Night featuring top independent bands and artists.
