Principal applauds principles

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the generous donations from our community partners. Because of your generosity, the Oak View High School Turkey Walk for Needy Families was able to donate more than $1,700 to the Santa Comes to Agoura project. Your donations, along with those from students, parents, staff and Oak Park Unified School District officials, will assist many local families during the holidays.

I want to also thank Mr. George Annino for meeting our students and staff on Nov. 22 to accept our gift. George's words of praise and encouragement to our students touched our hearts and will be remembered by all.

The following community partners are hereby recognized and applauded for their good work: World of Leather Furniture, Scizzors and Suds, Beanscene, Agoura Meadows Health Foods, Bassett Furniture Direct, Maria's Italian Kitchen, MDM Management, Healthy Pet, California Closets, Downey Savings, AAA Pet Setting, Agoura's Famous Deli & Restaurant, Agoura Hills Car Wash, Love's Pets, Delkind Inc. and Big O Tires.

Martin Luther King Jr. once stated that "life's most urgent question is, what are we doing for others?" The answer from our students, parents, staff and partners is that we are developing caring students who are making their community a better place for all of us. Thank you so much. Lou Tabone
Principal, Oak View High School
