'Sore losers' on City Council

I was appalled to read in The Acorn of the political spanking of Jim Bruno by the Gang of Three. Big box or no big box, big deal. Are there that many small-minded, petty and vindictive people in the city who are so injured or upset by this issue that they feel justified in violating Jim Bruno's traditional right to become mayor?

Jim Bruno may be verbose and tedious, but his heart is in the right place, and he has solid instincts for what is best for Westlake Village. If City Councilmembers Rutherford, Klessing and Slavin had the integrity to match their self-centered convictions, they would have acknowledged the will of the people and resigned their positions in protest. Instead, we get to be represented by a cabal of whining sore losers for several more years.
