Itty-bitty sports league growing

The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Agoura Hills and Oak Park, is planning its Itty-Bitty sports league for boys and girls ages 3 and 4. Sign-ups for players and coaches are underway.

The season will run from Jan. 9 through Feb. 7 at Willow Elementary School, 29026 Laro Drive in Agoura Hills.

“Participants will be introduced to soccer, hockey, basketball and T-ball,” says Chrissy Withers, Triunfo YMCA’s childcare program director. “The league’s emphasis is on fun, sportsmanship and respect for self and others while developing general motor skills. Competition is not a part of the program.”

Practices and games will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
