Apply for city grants

The city of Westlake Village is accepting applications for the 2007 Community Services Grant Program and nominations for the Annual Citizen and Youth recognition programs.

The grants will be available to local nonprofit organizations that provide specialized social ser

vices and cultural programs which benefit the citizens of Westlake Village. The minimum grant awarded will be $250.

Not-for-profit organizations that serve Westlake Village residents are eligible to apply.

The recognition programs acknowledge individuals who contribute to the community. Nominees must be residents of Westlake Village. A donation of $500 will be made to a charity selected by the Citizen of the Year, and the Youth award recipient will receive a $500 scholarship.

Applications and nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. Fri., Feb. 23. Forms are available at city hall at 31200 Oak Crest Drive or call (818) 706-1613.
