BEST IN THE STATE—Tyler Goulden, 12, displays his trophy for winning the state championship for his age group in the California’s Amateur Skateboard League competition series. Tyler, a resident of Agoura Hills and a student at Chaminade Middle School in Chatsworth, also holds his well-worn skateboard. He competed against 11- and 12-year-old boys and girls from around California, bringing home first place for his skill and flair on a skateboard.
