Residents can apply for Oak Park planning committee

The Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District announced that it will hold elections in January for five communityatlarge seats on the planning committee.

Oak Park residents have until 5 p.m. Fri., Jan. 19 to have their names placed on the ballot for the Jan. 23 election during the Oak Park Municipal Advisory Committee meeting.

The planning committee advises the board of directors of the park district on Oak Parkrelated matters.

Elected members serve a two-year term and attend four meetings per year.
