Edward J. Gorlitz Jr. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kathleen, sons Edward of Thousand Oaks and Christopher of San Diego, daughter Stephanie of Oak Park and daughter’s in-law Dawn and Cynthia. He is also survived by his father Edward and sisters Gerri Santorufo of Las Vegas, NV, and Carole Cisler of Hicksville, N.Y. and bother in-law Jay Santorufo. He will be missed by many more. Ed, an avid golfer at Westlake Village Golf Course, and Mens’ Club member, had also been involved in youth sports, baseball, club soccer and the Oak Park High School Booster Club. An evening Vigil Service was held at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Morturary in Westlake Village (818) 889-0902, Thursday, Dec. 7 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, and a Funeral Mass was held at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church (818) 991-3915, Westlake Village, Friday, Dec. 8 at 10:00 AM followed by burial at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks. Rosary was 7:00 PM Thursday, Dec. 7 with vigil. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to the Colorectal Cancer Coalition (www.c-three.org), or Make a Wish Foundation (www.wish.org). |
