'E.T.' to land in Westlake

Sightings of UFOs in Westlake Village tomorrow night should not alarm those in the know. The city of Westlake Village will show Steven Spielberg's "E.T.: The Extraterrestrial" on a giant screen outdoors in the Westlake Village Civic Center courtyard. The film will begin at sundown tomorrow, Fri., July 28.

During the movie, popcorn, candy and beverages will be avail

able for purchase. At 6:30 p.m. California Pizza Kitchen will sell pizzas and salads for $5.

Those attending are advised to bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets and lots of Reese's Pieces for that inimitable little alien from a pre-cellphone world who just wants to phone home.

Courtyard seating is limited, so beam over early.
