A big Westlake Village thank you The Westlake Village Junior Women's Club would like to thank the city of Westlake Village and Mayor Sue McSweeney for their generous grant that truly made this year's Westlake Village Fourth of July Parade possible. The WVJWC is also grateful to Dep. Robert Desantis of the Lost Hills Sheriff Department and Capt. McClung of the Los Angeles County Fire Department Station 144 for their assistance during the parade. A special thanks also goes out to the Foxfield Riding Club and the local Boy Scouts troops. Their participation makes the parade even more special. We would also like to thank the following local businesses and vendors: Starbucks in Westlake Village (Agoura Road), Yum Yum Doughnuts, Western Bagels, East Coast Bagels, Corner Bakery, Albertsons Westlake Village, Gelsons Westlake Village, Vons Agoura Hills, Vons Westlake Village, Ralphs Agoura Hills, Ralphs Westlake Village, Savon/CVS Agoura Hills, Pavilions Westlake Village, Trader Joes Westlake Village, Costco Westlake Village, Target Thousand Oaks, and Helping Hands Medical for donating various items to the 36th annual Westlake Village Fourth of July Parade. The co-presidents of the WVJWC, Candi James and Leslie Adams, wish to thank their members for donating many volunteer hours prior to and during the parade. By virtue of the members, local businesses and the city of Westlake Village's support and generosity we are able to continue with a tradition that makes our community a special place to live.
