Seminar on natural approach to healing

The Mind Body Spirit Center will host a series of "Natural Approach" seminars presented by Sharon Norling, MD, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on select Wednesdays at the Center, 32123 Lindero Canyon Road, Ste. 204, Westlake Village. The cost of each seminar is $20 and requires an RSVP to (818) 707-9355.

On Aug. 9, Norling will discuss "Menopause and Hormones." Attendees will learn about this life transition, find the mind-body connection, and identify options to balance one's hormones.

On Aug. 23, Norling will discuss what cancer patients can do in addition to surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation; symptom relief options that don't have side effects; and what healthy people can do to help prevent cancer.

On Sept. 6, Norling will discuss irritable bowel syndrome, exploring underlying causes, the role of vitamins and supplements as possible relief, and the power of the mind-body connection to heal.
