Agoura resident turns movies into mitzvah

SHARING THE WEALTH-Beth Maiman of Agoura Hills, right, spent six months collecting new and used children's DVDs and videos to donate to the residents at Casa Pacifica, a children's group home in Camarillo. Beth also raised enough money to purchase a new DVD/VCR player for the home. Left, Barbara Kramer, development coordinator for Casa Pacifica, gave Beth a tour of the home so she could meet some of the children in person. The donation was Beth's mitzvah project through Temple Adat Elohim.
