Actions not normal
     I am writing this in response the Ms. Hart's letter of July 13. Receiving a party invitation stating that "no gifts under $50 are acceptable" would be offensive to me under any celebratory circumstance: graduation, retirement, birthday, communion or as she stated, bar mitzvah.

More thoughts about the flag
     I am 10 years old and active in recycling and conservation projects because I care about my environment. I used in live in Liberty Canyon and it made me sad to see how these little throwaway flags were trashed after the Fourth of July, sunfaded, soiled and lackluster.
