Golf team offers discount tickets

The Oak Park High School Golf Team will be selling discounted tickets to the 2007 Nissan Open at Riviera Country Club to raise funds for the team’s Spring Trip to the Monterey Peninsula.

The grounds-only passes, which are valued at $25 and can be used on any day of the Nissan Open, can be purchased from the golf team for only $15. Thirteen dollars of each ticket sold will be donated back to Oak Park’s golf program.

Oak Park will be traveling to the Monterey Peninsula in April to compete in matches against sixtime CIF Northern California champions RL Stevenson High School at Spyglass Hill Golf Course and York High School at Laguna Seca Golf Course.

The 2006 CIF team finalists also will play a practice round at Poppy Hills Golf Course. Spyglass and Poppy Hills are two of the three courses used for the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
