Skateboard wiz wins California championship
SEAN GOULDEN/Special to The Acorn BEST IN THE STATE—Tyler Goulden, 12, displays his trophy for winning the state championship for his age group in the California’s Amateur Skateboard League competition series. Tyler, a resident of Agoura Hills and a student at Chaminade Middle School in Chatsworth, also holds his well-worn skateboard. He competed against 11- and 12-year-old boys and girls from around California, bringing home first place for his skill and flair on a skateboard.
