Calabasas wrestlers put up a fight at Newbury Park Tournament

BILL SPARKES/Acorn Newspapers NOT FOR LACK OF EFFORT-Calabasas High's Julian Jazayeri, on top, battles Rio Mesa High's Albert Candido during last weekend's Newbury Park Wrestling Tournament. Candido defeated Jazayeri in the 119-pound final. Royal High won the team title, with Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley and Hueneme rounding out the top four spots.
