New Offices Purcahsed

RE/MAX Olson & Associates, Inc., with offices in Northridge, Granada Hills, Simi Valley, Westlake Village and North Ranch, has purchased five additional offices from RE/ MAX Gold Coast Realtors. Two of those offices are in Simi Valley, and the others are in Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park and Moorpark. RE/MAX Gold Coast, headquartered in the city of Ventura, will continue to operate their five remaining offices in West Ventura County.

"This is a classic winwin-win situation," said Keith Myers, president of RE/MAX Olson & Associates. "Gold Coast will concentrate on running their

fine company around their core strength; we will benefit by economies of scale and increase in market share; our new agents will have additional support and marketing impact; and the consumer will receive greater value. It is truly a synergistic move."

Glenn Sipes, co-owner of Re/MAX Gold Coast, said, "We have enjoyed an excellent longstanding relationship with the Olson company. We put our heads together recently and both decided this move made sense for both companies and the agents." Sipes and his partner started their firm in 1990. After the sale, they will have five offices and 250 agents, with a new office under construction in the new Seabridge area of Oxnard. RE/MAX Olson & Associates, owned by Todd Olson and Myers, will now have nine offices in the Conejo, Simi and San Fernando valleys and 365 agents. "We will have premier market presence in the Tri-Valley area," said Myers.

Both companies are part of the RE/MAX network consisting of more than 125,000 agents in 65 companies worldwide.
