Model ships being sold at Maritime Museum

The Ventura County Maritime Museum is presenting its annual Holiday Ship Model Sale during the month of December. The museum is at Fisherman's Wharf in Channel Islands Harbor at the corner of S. Victoria Avenue and Channel Islands Boulevard in Oxnard and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A wide selection of models is available. On the weekends museum members will demonstrate the craft of miniature ship modeling, including the art of getting the ship into the bottle.

Proceeds from the sales will benefit educational programs at the museum.
