GOP women get ready for holiday gala

Thousand Oaks Republican Women Federated will present "Christmas Festivities at Mount Vernon" Thurs., Dec. 7 with a reception and boutiques at 11 a.m. and luncheon at 12:15 p.m. The

holiday gala will be at the Sherwood Country Club, 320 W. Stafford Road, Westlake Village.

Retired Lt. Col. Steve Chealander, military aide to President Ronald Reagan, will be a

guest. The event will also feature Christmas carolers and the installation of officers.
