Pat Soteras will be sorely missed

The joy of each Thursday is reading The Acorn. However, this morning as I read page 2, I was overcome with grief to learn that a lovely lady, Patricia Soteras, had passed away.

The Agoura/Oak Park/Conejo Chamber of Commerce would not be what it is today without the assistant leadership of Pat. There was never a time that she didn't have answers to questions, and if she didn't have an answer she would check into the situation and get back to the caller in a timely fashion, always with a smile, even over the phone.

Her son, Alex, without a doubt was a tremendous leader of the Chamber. He and his mother's assistance added to the success of the organization. Whenever Alex would introduce me at the Chamber mixers, he always introduced me as "Mrs. Oak Park." If Pat were to be introduced, she would be known as "Mrs. Chamber of Commerce."

To the Chamber and her family, thank you for having Pat to be a part of the lives of the Kahns. Bob and Pat are now together in heaven and looking down upon us on earth and applauding the Chamber on its continued successes. Pat will not be an easy act to follow. Eileen Kahn Oak Park
