Thanksgiving begins Christmas countdown

JANN HENDRY/Acorn Newspapers START OF THE HOLIDAY SEASON-Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, which means only 25 shopping days left until Christmas. The busiest day of the year at the malls will be Friday. Many nonprofit groups and service organizations are already feeling the holiday spirit. Below, an elaborate gingerbread house gives a whole new meaning to the term "home for the holidays." The tasty display is part of the Westlake Junior Women's club 25th anniversary gingerbread boutique held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church last week.
