Winter Arts Festival coming to Pierce College
Patrons can view work, watch demos, buy pottery
Pierce College will present its annual Winter Arts Festival from noon to 4 p.m. Sat., Dec. 2 at the college, 6201 Winnetka, Ave., Woodland Hills. Admission is free. Parking will be available in lot 6 and no permit will be needed. Activities will be in the art department quad, art gallery and art rooms. The ceramic department will offer its ceramic and chili bowl sale with handmade bowls to fill with chili. There will be a storytelling corner, art workshops, and demonstrations of bookbinding, silk painting, clay sculpture and more, courtesy of Continental Art Supply. The festival will include an artist marketplace with glass and craft artists. Exhibits of Artists of the Valley and RAKU will be on display at the art gallery. The Mad Potter's Tea and Coffee Bar will provide warm drinks and refreshments. For more information, call Mary E.
