A $17,000 platinum ring was stolen from the master bedroom of a home on Via Mira Monte Aug. 15. Calabasas Vandals smashed the windshield of a vehicle parked on Park Alisa Nov. 7. Damages were $250. Someone caused $100 in damages to a mailbox on cold Canyon Road Oct. 31. Thieves stole a $5,000 computer and a $4,220 flat screen TV from a business in the 23600 block of Calabasas Road Oct. 30. Westlake Village Burglars stole a checkbook from an office desk on Bedfordhurst Court Nov. 5. Thieves broke into a car parked on Oak Crest Oct. 29 and swiped a $300 bracelet and a purse containing a driver's license. Someone broke into a car parked on Rustic Oak Drive on Oct. 27 and stole a purse containing a cellphone. The loss was $750.
