No one disputes that the Earth has been irregularly getting slightly warmer over the past few centuries. What is in question is the cause of the warming. Knowing the cause is critical because if the cause has been wrongly identified.

It is fashionable today to identify the steady increase of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere as the culprit. But there are difficulties. One such is the fact that the increase in Earth's global temperature has not been steady. For 30-odd years during and after World War II, Earth's global temperature was on a downward slope and the media was speculating as to whether we would have icebergs in New York Harbor.

If carbon dioxide controls Earth's temperature, how could the temperature go down for a period of 30-odd years while carbon dioxide content was going up? Answer: It can't. The Greens' presumptions are wrong.

What phenomenon matches the irregular fluctuations in Earth's global temperature? Answer: the radiation from the sun.

Our sun's measured radiation matches those irregular fluctuations of the global temperature of the Earth over a span of centuries.

It is patently obvious that the sun drives the Earth's temperature. But the sun can be neither taxed nor controlled, so anthropomorphic greenhouse gas global warming was invented and the scientifically challenged representatives of our education and political systems joined forces to eliminate a putative cause of human discomfort.
