Heschel alumna wins award

Heschel West alumna Aliana Greenberg has been honored as the winner of the 2006 Outstanding Youth Volunteer award presented by the Association of Fundraising Professionals/Greater San Fernando Valley Chapter, Inc.

Greenberg was nominated for her outstanding commitment to community involvement and her dedication to helping others. She is a junior at New Community Jewish High School, president of the Spanish Club, a member of the Class Aquatics Swim Team and a member of AIPAC.

She continues to volunteer for Heschel West by researching foundations and writing grants.

Greenberg was honored Nov. 2 at an awards luncheon in recognition of annual National Philanthropy Day.
